Captured directly from an original 1960 Gibson J-45, this impulse response takes you back to the authentic sound of a golden era in acoustic guitar history. The '60 J-45 features a warm, deep, and enveloping tone with pronounced mids, rounded lows, and smooth highs—perfect for characterful recordings and soulful performances.

To achieve absolute fidelity, this capture was achieved with three high-end microphones: a Telefunken ELAM 251, a Neumann U47 and a Neumann KM84, all through vintage Neve 1073 preamps, preserving every nuance, resonance and harmonic detail of this legendary instrument.

This IR is ideal for platforms such as ToneX, Quad Cortex, HX Stomp, Kemper or any compatible loader, delivering a professional and organic acoustic tone without the need for miking.
