Developed in collaboration with Javier Serrano , and compatible with multiple capture and tone modeling platforms.

STUDIO TONE AND FIDELITY

All our Captures have been normalized and optimized within the same technical process as our IRs and Presets. This ensures that the IRs can be freely interchanged between any of our Captures, always maintaining a balanced, consistent, and professional result.

This means that no matter which Captures pack you acquire, you will later be able to supplement it with other IR packs and use them together, as all of them have been designed to function coherently and with premium quality in any scenario.

Each full capture includes its corresponding D.I. version: a direct take from the amplifier without a cabinet or microphone, allowing you to combine the original character of the Ecstasy with your own impulse responses.

Use the full captures for ready-to-play sounds or choose the D.I. versions to experiment with different IRs, virtual cabinets, microphone combinations, and external setups.


How to get the Cortex captures?

Once you complete your purchase, we will need to manually send you the captures via the Neural DSP Cortex Cloud app, available for iOS and Android.

To receive them, you must have the app installed and an active account. (If you don't have an account yet, you can create one from the app.)

Here's how you'll receive your captures:

  1. Enter your Cortex Cloud app username in the "Username" field above or send it to us at support@tonelabstore.com with your order number.
    Without this information, we will not be able to send your captures. Once we receive your order, ToneLab will follow you within the app.
  2. Make sure to follow "ToneLab" within Cortex Cloud.
    This will allow us to connect as "friends" on the platform.
    If you do not follow us, the app will not allow us to send you the captures.
  3. Once your order is confirmed and we are both connected within the app, we will send you the captures directly via Cortex Cloud.
    We group the captures within presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures in the pack.
    You can find them on your Quad Cortex in the "Shared with me" section.
  4. Delivery can take up to 2 business days, although orders are usually sent in less than 48 hours.
    This process is manual and requires us to send them one by one, but we will do our best to deliver them to you as quickly as possible.
