This IR Pack was captured from the Bogner XTC 4x12 cabinet, one of the most representative setups in the history of modern rock and high-gain boutique. For this collection, we worked with its original 4x12 cabinet equipped with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, managing to capture all its power, clarity, and harmonic character.
High-end microphones were used: Royer R121, Telefunken M80, Neumann U87, and Shure SM57, along with legendary preamplifiers Neve 1073 Vintage and API 512C, ensuring a professional studio-quality signal chain. The result is 11 Premium Impulse Responses obtained through a high-precision capture process: high-resolution frequency sweeps, absolute phase control, and a completely transparent audio path.
The goal was to accurately replicate the real behavior of the 4x12 cabinet, achieving an IR that sounds and feels like the original, with a powerful, open, and defined frequency balance.
