Vintage Captures Collection

TL FNDR DLX Reverb 1963

$25.00

TL-FNDR DLX '63 is a vintage package of captures from an original 1963 Fender Deluxe Reverb, made at its best tone point to retain its blackface character, dynamic response and 1x12 combo feel.
It is part of our Vintage Series , developed in collaboration with Javier Serrano and compatible with multiple tone capture and modeling platforms.

TONE AND STUDIO FIDELITY

All our Captures have been standardized and optimized within the same technical process as our IRs and Presets . This ensures that IRs can be freely interchanged between any of our Captures, always maintaining a balanced, consistent, and professional result.

This means that no matter which Capture package you purchase, you can later complement it with other IR packages and use them together, as they have all been designed to work consistently and premiumally in any scenario.

This exclusive collection captures the essence of the legendary 1963 Fender Deluxe Reverb, one of the most musical and influential combo amps in history. Its original blackface circuitry, 6V6 tubes, and 12-inch speaker have made it the absolute benchmark for clean tones with character: clarity, harmonic depth, and an organic response that reacts to every nuance of your right hand.

Each recording was made at the exact point where this amplifier delivers its best tone, without any additional effects or processing: no reverb, no vibrato, no pedals, no external compression. Just the pure circuitry of the Deluxe Reverb working in its sweet spot, from crystalline, open, and three-dimensional cleans to that classic edge of breakup when the volume is pushed, with a sweet crunch, natural compression, and the feeling of an "amp pushed to its limits" achieved simply by moving the amplifier's volume control.

This package was developed in collaboration with Javier Serrano, guitarist, producer, and tone expert with over two decades of experience. His in-depth knowledge of the original Deluxe Reverb, which he has used on hundreds of professional recordings as a reference for cleans, rhythm tracks, and classic crunch, allowed for the surgically precise selection of the most musical settings for the Normal and Vibrato channels (always in their dry, uneffected version), encompassing the entire tonal spectrum that makes this 1963 amplifier so iconic.

How to obtain Cortex captures?

Once you complete your purchase, we will need to manually send you the captures via the Neural DSP Cortex Cloud app, available for iOS and Android.

To receive them, you must have the app installed and an active account. (If you don't have an account yet, you can create one from the app.)

This is how you will receive your screenshots:

  1. Enter your Cortex Cloud app username in the "Username" field above or send it to us at support@tonelabstore.com with your order number.
Without this information, we won't be able to send your screenshots. Once we receive your order, ToneLab will follow you within the app.
  2. Make sure to follow “ToneLab” within Cortex Cloud.
This will allow us to connect as “friends” on the platform.
If you don't follow us, the app won't allow us to send you the screenshots.
  3. Once your order is confirmed and we are both connected within the app, we will send you the screenshots directly via Cortex Cloud.
We group the captures into presets, so you will receive one (or more) presets that include all the captures in the package.
You can find them in your Quad Cortex in the “Shared with me” section.
  4. Shipping may take up to 2 business days, although orders are usually shipped in less than 48 hours.
This process is manual and requires us to send them one by one, but we will do our best to deliver them to you as quickly as possible.
