The JHS Moonshine is a modern reinterpretation of the classic Tube Screamer, but with more gain, more body, and a dark, aggressive character. Inspired by the raw sounds of the American South, this pedal was designed to push amps hard without losing definition.

Its internal circuitry, powered internally at 18V, offers greater headroom and tonal depth. The result: a powerful overdrive with more pronounced lows and a less nasal midrange response than traditional TSs, ideal for both dense rhythms and articulate solos.

This capture was made from the original V1 version, which has become increasingly difficult to obtain, and retains that thick, saturated, characterful tone this pedal became famous for.
